I came to pottery quite late but I’ve always been involved in creative activities of some kind, from playing guitar with my big brother, many years in bands and singing groups and a long career in mental health that culminated in the establishment of Hoot Creative Arts, using the arts to promote positive mental health and well-being. I always knew creativity was good for you.
Alongside my pottery, I currently run a singing group called Cakehole for whom I write and arrange songs, and play with Mudslingers, a loosely pottery themed acoustic trio.
